It was very refreshing when I heard it for the first time. To put it in plain words: there are things in life that simply takes time. Or like people always say, Rome is not built in one day.

I used to be someone who strongly believe in playing catchups. However, the inconvenient truth is, you can catch up somehow, but to an extent. The time and energy you wasted when others invested, they all add up.

It definitely rings a bell. Now every time when I wanted to go easy on myself. The regrets of not starting early or not continuously working towards a goal will hit me. And the fear of regrets has the magic power of replenishing the fuel and prompting me to keep pushing.

The over-achievers are going to achieve more, the industry leaders like samsung and apple are going to lead anyways, because the power of pushing little harder each day, walking a little further each day, they add up to great distance.
