Invent your own reality

The scariest thing in the world is social conformity, regardless of culture or society format. You are constantly under pressure to conform to others’ behaviors, for no particular reason. In fact, a lot of the activities and beliefs we are forced to follow are created for idiotic reasons or even for bad reasons.

One shall understand, though, you are under no obligation to conform. As long as you are not breaking laws, everyone is free to live a version of life at his/her choice. The trick is to stick with it. If you ignore the disapproved voices around you, consistently, you have a high chance to bend others’ reality to meet yours. Case in point is Elon Musk. A textbook example of someone who is crazy enough to think he can change the world and who actually did it. He turns the haters into fans.

So, disregard. The contempt, doubt and criticism. Keep your head down and focus on creating your version of reality. Your day will come. The day when others willingly bend their reality to meet yours.
