If you play Texas hold’em, you will run into situations at times where you hold less chips than most players at the table. These are the moments when you are short stack.
Being short stack certainly limits your maneuvers but it doesn’t mean you have no chance to turn things around. The right strategy for short stackers, when you are really short, is to all in every time you need to consume your chips (small blind, big blind). Because if you simply call in rounds, you will soon bleed out by following the big guys. Small wins for short stackers are not good enough. You need big wins.
